Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Goal-Oriented Approach

CBT is a time-sensitive, structured, present-oriented psychotherapy directed towards solving current problems and teaching clients skills to modify dysfunctional thinking and behavior. CBT techniques often borrow from other modalities including DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, Solutions Focused Therapy and Positive Psychology.

At Aspire Counseling Denver, we almost always incorporate CBT into treatment. Other modalities, like Brainspotting and NeurOptimal®, are helpful to get to the root of the issue, whereas CBT can address day-to-day disfunction.

Schedule online. It's easy, fast and secure.
